Jack Aaron Bosh, age 93, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2017 in Levan, Utah. Jack was born in Levan, Utah on June 4th, 1924 to Floyd Bosh and Emily Shepherd-Bosh – the eldest of three children. He was married to Bonnie (Vonda) Bradfield in the Salt Lake City County building on April 11, 1945. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. After Bonnie’s passing, he married Mary Nielson in Salina on January 31, 1987.
Jack was a lifelong resident of Levan. He was actively involved in the community, being, among his numerous roles, a member of the town council and water master. He was a veteran of World War II, trained as a paratrooper, and served as a drill sergeant. He was a member of the American legion for over seven decades. He was the owner of Nephi Pack for many years, and a lifelong farmer. In his free time, Jack enjoyed working on a variety of home improvement projects, spending countless hours crafting in his shop. He was a limitless source of humor for his family and friends, and was always ready with a story to tell.
He leaves a legacy of sixteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Jean, his wife Bonnie, his wife Mary, his son Ted, his daughter Barbara Ann, his daughter-in-law Judy, and grandson Marty. He is survived by his sister Irene, sons Gordon (Sandra) and Jim (Paula), daughter-in-law Kimala and his daughters Bonnie Jean Skipper (Terry) and Jacqueline Mickelson (Jens).
The family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care of Dr. Rassmussen and the staff at Central Valley Medical Center. Specifically Julieann Parkin who provided comfort and friendship to Jack and his family.
Jack’s funeral will be held at the Levan Chapel on June 10, 2017 with services starting at 11:00 AM. Viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:45 AM. Interment in the Levan Town Cemetery.
