Keith Orson Grames, 95, of Sandy, Utah peacefully passed away on June 1, 2017. He was born in Price, Utah to Orson Francis Grames and Rose Johanna Christensen on March 5, 1922. Throughout his life he was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He joyfully served in many positions in the church and was a High Priest. He was a proud Veteran of World War II, and served 4 honorable years in the Army Air Corps.

He married Wanda Shelley Grames in 1942 in the Manti LDS Temple and together had 5 children. Warren K. Grames, deceased (Kathy) of Sandy, Utah, Patricia A. Lyon (Brent) of Herriman, Utah, Rita W. Lloyd (Ron) of Magna, Utah, Ron L. Grames (Irene) of Boise, Idaho, Timothy O. Grames (Tonya) of West Jordan, Utah. He has 21 Grandchildren, 60 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Keith and Wanda spent the majority of their years together living in Pleasant Grove, Utah. After 50 loving years of marriage filled with much joy and sweet memories, Wanda passed away. Keith then met and married Macey Drake of The Dalles, Oregon in 1992. He and Macey served an LDS mission in Palmyra, N.Y. Serving a mission was a dream come true for Keith and Macey and they poured their hearts into their work. The people of Palmyra were blessed to have had their service. After their mission they lived in The Dalles, Oregon before returning to Sandy, Utah. Macey passed away after 14 years of marriage. Keith met and married Marjorie Louise Parker of Stockton, Mo. in 2007. Marjorie was a huge blessing and gave Keith a very happy ten years of life. They lived in Sandy, UT and enjoyed the sweet time they had together. Their best accomplishments together included seeing their family grow and be happy.

Keith was a musician extraordinaire, playing the saw, banjo, mandolin, dulcimer, Jew's harp, spoons, and the fiddle. He and Wanda played in a small band called Papa's Parlor Pickers for 18 years. They played in many Senior Centers, the Utah State Fair and many local dances.

He was a kind, funny, honest, hard working, charitable, loving, and gentle man. He was a good friend, an amazing father and a 'one of a kind' Grandfather. We will miss his sense of humor, his smiling face, his twinkling eyes, the sparkle of his soul, his sweet whistle and his true pure love. We will think of him everyday and always be grateful to have known him.
