She grew up on a farm in Riverton. She graduated from Jordan High School and served in the New England Mission. Lois married Robert Clark Fails on September 25, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with four daughters. They made their home in Sandy, Utah and she lived there until her passing. Lois was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in many callings including Relief Society President, Stake Relief Society Counselor, Primary President, Young Women's Secretary and Primary Teacher. She was a very dedicated visiting teacher. With her husband, she served in the office of the Jordan River Temple for 3 years. Mom loved to visit with family, friends and neighbors. She was a great listener. One of her greatest joys was being with her family and supporting and attending their various activities that they were involved in. Some of her favorite pastimes were watching BYU sports, the Utah Jazz, going to lunch with friends and talking on the phone. Mom will be remembered for her laugh and smile. She was always sweet and kind and willing to serve others. We love her and will miss her greatly.
