Carl H. EricksonJuly 19, 1936 ~ January 11, 2018 (age 81)
Carl H. Erickson, age 81, from Draper, Utah, passed away in his home on Thursday, January 11, 2018 after a short struggle with cancer. He was surrounded by family and embraced in love. He was born on July 19, 1936 in Freedom, Wyoming to Carl Golden Erickson and Ina Bertha Haderlie. He grew up on a farm with his three brothers and sister, where he acquired a work ethic that cannot be matched by many. He was a beloved member of the community, where he was known and loved for all the kind acts of service he tirelessly performed; dropping off produce from his garden, cheese from Star Valley, giving words of wisdom to uplift and helping his older sister as she struggled with illness before she passed away last spring. The constant stream of visitors and kind acts that were returned to his family in the short three weeks of his illness spoke volumes to the wonderful precious spirit he shared with all he came in in contact with. Life in his neck of the woods will not feel the same without him. Carl was a very active member of the LDS Church, constantly serving others.
Survived by his daughters, Carolyn Nordgren, Jackie Briles and Vicki Goff; step-children, Adam Askwith, Austin Askwith, Aaron Askwith, Alan Askwith and Jessica See.
