Mom loved to be with Dad and had many great adventures. In their 43 years of marriage they taught us what devotion and love meant. Mom loved to cook and share a good recipe or meal with a friend of loved one. As a young girl Mom loved horses and riding at the ranch, in the mountains or around her home in Fountain Green. Mom enjoyed the many fishing trips we went on as a family. Spending time at family parties and get-togethers at the ranch were favorite events, as mom loved her brothers and sister so much.
Mom loved education and learning. She was well versed in the Gospel and had a strong testimony of the Plan of Salvation. Mom loved to learn. Even in her later years she could be found watching the latest surgical procedure on the medical channel into her late 80’s. Mom was a pioneer, as she was on the first paramedic program in Utah, working on the emergency room side of the process. After taking the training for the program she came home and said, “We are going to save so many lives.”
