Denise Sue White

Today we celebrate the beautiful life of Denise Sue White (Workman). Denise peacefully returned home to our Heavenly Father on June 30, 2022, at the age of 68 years old.

Denise was born November 27, 1953, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Roy and Elenor Workman. Denise had two sisters, Sharlene Cook and twin sister, Debbie Hendrickson. She was a high school graduate from Granger High School and shortly after married Fred White in 1974, then later divorced. Together they had 6 children. Later in life, Denise found her life partner Roe “Maury” Jacobs who she lived life to the fullest.

Denise was a loving and dedicated mother who would give the shirt off her back if needed. You could count on seeing her in the kitchen, especially during Christmas time baking and creating her famous fudge and candies. For many years, she worked for Wendy’s and McDonald’s and would often be found working hard in the back drive-thru window. During the last 20 years, Denise could be found on the back of Roe’s motorcycle traveling through many states. She found so much joy in these adventures. Denise will be remembered for her love of the holidays, crafting, working hard, and the desire to help others.

She was survived by her partner “Roe” Maury Jacobs, children Sonny White, Cory White, Gingerlyn Lindwall (Vincent) of Utah, and Shantell Evans (Gerald) of Texas, and bonus children Chad Jacobs (Patricia) and Roeshel Siler (Les) of Utah, sisters Sharlene Cook and twin sister Debbie Hendrickson. She had 17 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, plus 8 bonus grandkids and 5 bonus great grandkids. Preceded in death by her parents Roy D. Workman and Eleanor Mae Stone McAllister, her son Shane White, stepson Cody White, and grandson Tylier White.
