Donna Jean Wise Nuttall Hansen Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

“A Heart of Gold” The light in our hearts, Donna Hansen, passed from this life into the next the same way she lived: peacefully and with God at her side. Please come celebrate her life on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, 460 Century Drive, Murray, Utah 84123. We would love for you to share your memories of Donna with us. We remember her example of honesty, forgiveness, and love. She loved and served God at her congregation at Mountain View Christian Assembly and attended Bible Study all over the Salt Lake Valley. She felt and gave love freely to everyone. Donna’s love only grew during her long and beautiful life. She had 5 children and 5 step-children, 38 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren. With Donna, we shared old coins, game days, and funny white elephant gifts. Donna loved bridge, bunco, anything lemon, tartar sauce, caramel delight ice cream, and Red Lobster. She looked forward to the annual Tuacahn girls’ trip and the Wise Family Reunion. When she was younger, she played baseball and went hunting. But golf was a constant; everywhere Donna went she found a new friend to play with. She went golfing every year after our family reunion until she was 94 years old. Donna grew up in Salt Lake City, raised children in Midvale, lived in Texas and has been in Midvale since 2002. She is preceded in death by her parents (James Eddy and Helen Summerhays Wise) and siblings (Shirley Wigren, James Eddy Wise Jr, and Betty Fornelius). Surviving, her sister, Judy Ann Wise Drain (Bill). Donna married Richard (Dick) Walters Nuttall in 1944 and together they had Pamela Ann Nuttall, Shawnee Lee Hahn (Mark), Kristy Kay Gines (Alven), Terry Alan Nuttall & Richard Burt Nuttall. Dick passed away in 1969. Donna married Roger Leon Hansen in 1970. Her family expanded to include Gale Hansen (Julie), Shane Hansen, Robbie Levine (Elliott), Steven Hansen (Connie), late Russell Hansen (Shelley), & late Richelle Whitehead (Todd). Roger passed away in 2010. Special thanks to Pam for taking such good care of our mom all these years. God be with you, Donna, ‘til we meet again. We will miss you.
