Jordan Lawrence Heugly

Jordan Lawrence Heugly, age 23, passed away on Monday, January 8th, 2018 as a result of a tragic accident in Midvale, Utah. He was born May 9th, 1994 in Sandy, Utah to Brian and Paula Heugly. Jordan attended Hillcrest High School, then worked as a habilitation therapist at Hillcrest Care Center, displaying a wonderful knack for being quick-witted, sarcastic, and always making his co-workers laugh while taking care of his residents, whom he loved dearly. Jordan lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; being humorous with his family, doing pranks and making everyone smile around him. He loved video games, computer games and was extremely intelligent. He loved reading books and was even writing his own book. He was a great son, brother, grandson, and uncle. He loved spending time with his family and had a special bond with his nephew Jack. When Jack was 1 year old he gave Jordan the nickname Woah Woah. Since that time, Jordan was forever known as Uncle Whoa Whoa.

Jordan is preceded in death by his great-grandmother Edna Scott, grandmother Katherine Ainsworth, grandfather Cypriano Cordova, and his cousin Brandy Beckstead. He is survived by his parents, Brian and Paula Heugly, his brothers Cameron Heugly (Addie Hawkins) and Dalton Heugly (Janelle), his grandparents Joseph and Bonnie Heugly, his nephews Jack and Dawson Heugly, and nieces Mila and Brenner Heugly, and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family, friends and others whose lives Jordan touched are invited to the Southeast Christian Church, 1881 E. Vine Street in Murray at 4 PM on January 12, 2018 to reminisce, grieve and support each other.
