July 5, 1948 - March 29, 2022
Ramona Rose Oseguera Lopez passed away March 29, 2022 in Sandy, Utah after a life long battle with lung disease. She was born July 5, 1948 in Murray, Utah to Juanita Flores and Mike L. Oseguera. She married Benito R. Lopez August 17th, 1974 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and had two beautiful children. Ramona was all about her family – She adored her children but her pride and joy were her grandchildren whom she specifically called her Cydnee, her Aubree, and her Alex. She even loved her two fur grandbabies, Sophia and Blanche however she would never admit it. She was looking forward to watching Alex play highschool baseball this spring. She was counting down the days for Aubree’s highschool gradution, she even purchased a card 3 months in advance and O Boy was she proud of her Cydnee for the adult she has become. She was selfless and always put others needs before herself. Her favorite past-times were bowling, baking and watching, “her Dodgers”with family. Throughout Ramonas life she has been a second mom to many. We want them all to know how much they each meant to her, she always thought about about them after daycare years were past and they had all grown up. Ramona was a devout Catholic, serving over 20 years being a catechism teacher. We will miss her laugh, smile and that mischievous look in her eye. She is survived by her husband Ben, her mother Juanita Flores Saldivar, children Benita (Tommy)Fox and Ruben (Michelle)Lopez, 3 grand children Cydnee, Aubree and Alex. Her sisters Sara(Damon)Graves, Violanda Vasquez , Emilia(Terry) Torres, and brother Cruz(Wilma)Vasquez, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her fathers Mike Oseguera, Cruz Vasquez and Refugio Saldivar, brother Antonio Saldivar, nephew Ray Vasquez and her grandparents. Moms, grams….. you have no idea how much we already miss you. We will have a steak for you. A viewing will be held April 5th at Goff Mortuary from 6pm-8pm. Rosary will begin at 7pm. Funeral service will be held April 6th at St. Therese Catholic Church at 11am with a viewing one hour prior. Graveside services to follow.
