    Sergio A Espinoza Pizarro

    January 20, 1930 - April 12, 2022

Sergio Espinoza of Guacarhue, Chile, died peacefully at his home, accompanied by his beloved wife Martita and his oldest daughter Monica. He was suffering a lot of pain and he was ready to depart to his heavenly home. He grew up in Chile, and was the second oldest of eight siblings, who loved him very much. Later in his life he came to the United States to be closer to his kids. Life gave him the gift of finding a new love and got married to Martita. His passion was to fish, and every time he had the opportunity he would prepare weeks in advance. His vision problems didn’t help, but he always was ready, no matter what. He was a lovely father that took care of his kids. When his second wife passed away, he was left to care for 4 teenage girls, even when some family members tried to take care of them separately, attempting to help, but he decided to keep them together, no matter the challenges that came. He was known as “Tata” and was loved by so many grandkids and great grandkids. He leaves behind his beloved wife Martita, and his 6 children Sergio (Janet), Sam (Mary) Monica (Patricio) Cecilia (Francisco) Gabriela (Kevin) and Marcela, his wife’s family, The Sosa Family, that learned to love him the way he was, he also leaves behind his grandkids and great grandkids who loved spending time with him. In Chile, he is also survived by his brother and sisters and their respective families who will remember and miss him with immense love. First Viewing - Goff Mortuary, 8090 State St., Midvale, Sunday April 17th, 6 pm-8 pm.
