Sharon Russell Jensen

Sharon Russell Jensen, 79, of Midvale Utah passed away on November 21, 2022 at her daughters home in Wanship Utah due to health complications.

She was born to the late Paul Edmud and Malvola Russell on October 3, 1943, in Delta Utah. She was the second of four children.

She graduated from Juab High School and later received a degree from Stevens-Henager College.

She married her sweetheart, Bruce Orlando Jensen, of 60 years on July 22, 1962 in the Manti Utah Temple.

Sharon worked for Robert C. Matheson as a legal secretary and later in the Salt Lake Juvenile Court system where she eventually retired.

She loved spending time with her family, the best memories are of all the great camping and boating trips to Yuba, Echo, Starvation and Lake Powell. She is well known by her grandkids for prepaying them for all of the cuss words that she knew she would say for the day. She loved teaching and instructing her grandkids on how to swim and to have a love for the water.

She served in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved taking the youth on boating outings.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Orlando Jensen, son, Robert Jensen, daughter Sonia (Jon) Hellander, six grandchildren, JR (Lydia) Hellander, Cody (Victoria) Hellander, Trystin (Emily) Hellander, Porter (Kim) Hellander, Harley Hellander, and Rielly Hellander, three great-grandchildren, Hazel Mae, Lily Ruth and Trystin Monte.

She is also survived by her sister Deborah (Steven) Stowell and preceded in death by her mother, father, brother and sister.

The family would like to thank the care given to mom by the wonderful nurses and staff of Enhabit Hospice. You will always have a special place in our hearts.
