Afton Irene Williams

Afton Irene Williams, 78, passed away on June 10, 2026 at home in Midvale, Utah. She was born on December 9,1947 to Afton Thorne Hallett in Bingham Canyon. Irene married Clyde Williams on June 6,1980 and together they had a great many adventures.

Irene enjoyed reading, cooking and was an accomplished artist. Thirty-three years ago she began art classes sparked by a lifelong love for creativity. She especially loved oil painting and working with Prismacolor. Her favorite subjects to bring to life were always animals.

Visitation services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday June 17, 2026 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale Utah. Interment services follow immediately at Sandy City Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
