Alexander Irving David Jones

Alexander Irving David Jones, lovingly known as Alex, was born on October 3, 1973, in Cheverly, Maryland, to Irving David Jones and Kathy Norman. Alex passed away on October 2, 2026, one day before his 53rd birthday, leaving behind a lasting impression on the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Alex had a special appreciation for the world around him. He loved taking pictures of his surroundings, capturing the beauty and moments that others might overlook. His love for the outdoors, music, technology, and cars reflected his curiosity, his interests, and his unique way of experiencing life. Above all, Alex cherished his family and friends, who brought meaning and joy to his life.

Alex was loved by all who knew him. His presence, his interests, and the memories he created with those around him will continue to live on in the hearts of the people whose lives he touched. Though his time here was far too short, the love he shared and the memories he leaves behind will never be forgotten.

Alex is survived by his former wife, Shelly; his beloved daughter, Paige; his father, David and step-mother Arlene; his mother, Kathy; his brothers, Scott & wife Jacie, Elijah & wife Katie, Michael & wife Jodie, step-brother Jeremy; and his sisters, Katie, Kelley & husband John, and step-sister April & husband Tyler. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we remember Alex, we celebrate the life he lived, the things he loved, and the connections he made along the way. May the memories captured in photographs, the music that filled the air, the beauty of the outdoors, and the moments shared with loved ones serve as lasting reminders of Alex and the place he will always hold in our hearts.
