Anton (Tony) Paul Rezac

Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at home, on October 14, 2023. Tony was born November 24, 1929, in Valparaiso, Nebraska to Julius and Irene Rezac. He had two brothers and one sister, all who have preceded him in death.

Tony married the love of his life Barbara Rose Jeffs on July 10, 1954. Together, Tony and Rose had three sons; Jay, Denny, and Earl. Tony leaves behind a family legacy including his wife, sons, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, all of whom he was proud of, loved, and enjoyed being around. Tony had many friends and was well-loved by extended family members, both in Utah and Nebraska. He cared for and was interested in the lives of the people around him, and made you feel important.

Tony was enlisted in the United States Navy. He later worked at Chicago Bridge & Iron and then Kennecott Copper, where he retired. Tony was a member of the Catholic Church and attended St. Martin de Porres Church. He actively participated in the community by being part of: Boy Scouts, Murray City Baseball Association, and The American Legion Post 371.

Tony enjoyed hunting and building homes with his boys, homesteading, attending grandkid's events, reading, and telling stories. Most days he could be found outside in the yard. He loved sharing vegetables from their garden, and he never let you leave the house empty-handed. He was eager to help anyone with any project and had the tools to pull off any job.

A special thank you to everyone who has extended their love and support to our family, especially our mother Rose.

Tony's celebration of life will be held at a later date.
