Antonio "Tony" Bardarama

Antonio “Tony” Bardarama, 83, was welcomed into God’s loving arms on February 1st, 2026.

Tony was born on March 2nd, 1942, in Islote, Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to Marina Reyes Rios and Francisco Gualdarrama. He built a beautiful life alongside his wife, Alice Garcia Bardarama, whom he married in 1960 in Salt Lake City. A hardworking and devoted family man, Tony was dedicated to his career at Mountain Fuel, retiring at the age of 55. He worked tirelessly for his family, providing safety, security, and stability.

All who knew Tony knew love, plenty of laughter, and, most importantly, guidance, as he was a father figure to so many. Rooted in his Puerto Rican culture, he brought life to every party and light to every room, often bringing smiles even to strangers. Everyone was welcomed with a joke, a story, and sometimes a drink. Everyone has a favorite story about our beloved Tony.

Tony enjoyed watching movies at home and in the theater, camping, fishing, and working on cars. He loved relaxing on his porch swing with his dog, Bullet, listening to music, and making memories with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In the last year of his life, he especially enjoyed watching outdoor and camping videos on YouTube with his wife.

Although Tony leaves a hole in our hearts, he also leaves behind a lifetime of love, wisdom, and memories that will be cherished forever.

Tony is survived by his wife, Alice Garcia Bardarama; his son, Tony Jr.; his daughters, Dolly and Niecy; his granddaughters, Shadae and Shaniece; his great-granddaughters, Journie and Starlie; his grandsons, Lazarious and Zakharii; Sisters Eva, Ana (Joe) & Nora (Pastel), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is perceived in death by his son David, mother Marina Reyes, father Francisco, & step-father Cecilio.
