Barry Cole

Barry Charles Cole, age 83, passed away on October 28, 2023. He was born on March 3, 1940 in Watford, England. He immigrated to Salt Lake City in 1965 after receiving his PHD in microbiology at the University of Birmingham. Barry was a well known immunology researcher in the Rheumatology Division at the U of U Medical school.

Barry was an excellent chef, home landscape designer, ecological traveler, orchid hobbyist and grower and a loving husband and father.

He is survived by his wife Sandi, son Peter, wife Gloria and granddaughter Jasmine.
