Betty Jane Beckstead

Betty was born to Samuel and Alta Webb Kemp in Crescent, Utah, where she lived until she married her forever love Amanuel (Bud) Beckstead in 1946. They then moved to South Jordan on Beckstead property where they lived out the rest of their lives. Mom kept an immaculate house and yard and always had the cleanest windows in town. She was a great cook and made the best pies. But most of all she loved her kids unconditionally. Family was her greatest pleasure. Betty passed away at home surrounded by family.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Bud, two sons Buddy and Lonny, and granddaughter Brandy Beckstead, three sisters and their spouses, one brother, and many others. Survived by daughter Shauna (Bill) Morgan, sons Bret (Shawna) Beckstead, Bart Beckstead, and special daughter-in-law Brenda Beckstead, four grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids, and her loyal dog Lacey.

Mom will be cremated and there will be no services.
