Bonnie Jean Siddoway Snyder

Our beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Bonnie Jean Siddoway Snyder, 83, died July 28, 2022 at her daughter’s home, and is finally reunited with her eternal sweetheart, who she has missed so much.

Born January 9, 1939 in Rockport, Utah (where the reservoir is now) to Faron Charles Siddoway and Lorretta Pearl Johnson Siddoway.

Bonnie lived at the Wheeler Farm as a child while her father worked the farm for the Sterling family. She attended school at Granite, but graduated from North Summit. She excelled in school.

While working for her uncle Keith Siddoway at the Spring Chicken Inn (owner at the time), she met the handsome love of her life, Carroll W. Snyder. They married Oct. 6, 1956. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple after 30 years of marriage. She was very proud of her pioneer heritage from both parents.

Bonnie enjoyed bowling, shopping, gardening, sewing, camping, and going to the operas in Logan with her daughter Sheri. They went on a temple tour and in San Francisco saw Phantom of the Opera. They went to Disneyland and Nauvoo together. She enjoyed road trips with Carroll. She was an excellent scrapbooker and has pages of her family. She was always taking pictures. She spent 25 years in banking in Coalville, starting at Walker Bank and ending at Wells Fargo. She received a Business and Professional Women award.

Bonnie loved holidays, especially Christmas and activities with family. She served a temple mission at the Ogden Temple for five years and loved it.

On March 3, 1993, the love of her life died, and she has missed him every day since. What a wonderful reunion they are having.

Survivors: daughter Sheri (Paul, deceased) Farrell, sons John (Christi) Snyder, Don (Snook) and Orlene Snyder, and sister Verla Lewis. Preceded in death by husband Carroll, sisters Marlene Jensen, Dorothy Tippen, parents Faron and Lorretta Siddoway, and great-granddaughter Rebecca Hope Gustafson. Bonnie has 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Family is so important to Bonnie and it will be a joyful reunion.

A celebration graveside service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, August 2nd at the Coalville Cemetery. There will be a luncheon after at the Coalville Stake Center – please join us and share memories.
