Brock William Swapp

On November 7th, 2025 Brock William Swapp passed peacefully surrounded by family and angels. Brock was born on March 10th, 2005 in Payson, Utah to his loving parents, Daina Paxman Swapp, and the late Jason Swapp. He was the youngest child, and grew up with two older sisters that loved and adored him. Brock quickly became the heart and center of his family, filling their lives with his sweet and determined spirit. Brock’s strength, kindness, and big heart touched everyone who knew him.

He spent his 20 years of life in Nephi, where he was embraced by a strong and loving community. He worked hard and graduated from Juab High School in 2025. Brock never had the opportunity to have a job, but if he did, there is no doubt that he would have been a police officer.

Brock had many hobbies, including but certainly not limited to, trains, locks, and shopping on Amazon. His favorite time of day was Pepsi time, with his mom and grandma Sandra. Dressed in his cowboy boots and cowboy hat, he loved being outside; camping, going for walks, riding his bike, and sitting on the porch were some of his favorite activities. For Brock, being outside was being in his natural element. He loved anything music and singing. If you knew Brock, you knew that when you were around him, you’d probably hear a mixture of Christmas songs, Primary Songs, the Mama Mia sound track, and Keith Urban. Brock had a deep love for the magic of Christmas. So much so, that he openly celebrated the holiday year round. Without a doubt you could catch him on any given evening watching a rerun of Polar Express or Home Alone. He carried that magic with him wherever he went.

Brock had no shortage of friends, and to him, friends were family. He had a perfect ability to make everyone feel special and loved, as if they were his favorite person in the whole world. Brock lived his life in a way that most people strive to; to the fullest, and without any fear. Brock was famous for his strong hugs and big grin, that he freely passed out to anyone he met. Simply being in his presence you could feel how big his heart was and how much love he had to give.

Brock had a strong testimony of the gospel and loved to talk and learn about Jesus. His faith shaped the way he lived, always eager to serve, love, and lift others. Brock is the strongest kid we have ever known. He loved to help, no task was ever too small or too great for him to give his all. Even in his passing, he was able to continue helping others through the gift of organ donation, a final act of the kindness and generosity that defined his life.

Brock is survived by his loving mother, Daina Swapp; his sisters, Kylie Swapp, and Brittney Shepherd (Drayden); his nephew Maverik Adams; his grandparents, Bert and Sandra Paxman, and Harriett Swapp; his great grandmother Phyllis Belliston; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who adored him. He was welcomed into heaven by his loving father, Jason Swapp, and his grandfather Ramon Swapp.

Viewings will be held on November 12th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home 94 W 300 N in Nephi, and November 13th from 9:45-10:45 am with a celebration of life to follow at 11:00 am at the 1st ward church 222 S 100 E.

With deepest gratitude, the family would like to thank the medical staff who tended to Brock with such love and grace, both in this life and as he was welcomed into the next.
