Carol Ann Widener

Carol Ann Dixon Widener passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Carrie Whytock on August 25, 2021.

She was born on June 9th, 1941 in Ashton, Idaho to Lester Ervin Dixon and Drucella Francis Wright. She attended Fremont High School in Ashton, Idaho.

She married Raymond Henry Widener on June 27, 1957 and they moved to Utah in 1959. They moved to Midvale, Utah in the summer of 1963 and made many friends. Together they raised 5 children. They were together until 2003 when they divorced.

She worked for Engh Floral and retired from Jordan School District as a Lunch Lady.

She was a loving, stubborn, proud, strong headed woman. She loved her family and friends and was always up for a cup of coffee and catching up.

She is survived by her 5 children: Lester (Kitty), Collen, Trenna, Carrie (Rick) and John (Michael), her 13 grandchildren, and her 11 great grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the home of her grandson, Nick Widener: 9722 S. Sweet Blossom Drive, South Jordan, Utah.
