Celesta J Ingram Brewster

Celesta J Ingram Brewster was born on April 26th, 1963 in Burley, Idaho. She is the first born to Bert Russel and Joann Roberts Ingram. She passed away at the age of 58, in her home surrounded by her loving mother and sister Kelli on August 5, 2021.

She was a very active child. She cut her first tooth at six months and walked at eight months old. At an early age, family became very important to her, and you could always find her being spoiled by her Uncle Joe and grandparents. When she was four years old, the family moved to Salt Lake City where her dad went to school to be a Certified Public Accountant.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and always loved the young women's program. Celesta graduated from Alta High School, and loved to go camping, fishing, and spending time with her friends. Marlene and Diane are her favorites. She loved getting her nails done, Diet Coke, and playing Uno. Her competitive spirit made it so she always won every game.

At the age of twelve years old she started stumbling and falling and was diagnosed with a brain tumor followed by major brain surgery, chemo, and radiation. As she aged, her brain atrophied due to complications from her tumor, and she started having many health problems. In spite of it all, she was always happy and never complained. As her health quickly deteriorated this year, she continued to smile, give high fives, and thumbs up. She endured her trials valiantly to the end.

She is survived by her mother Joann, brothers Todd (Kari) Ingram, Charles (Susan) Ingram, and Russel (Stacie) Ingram; her sisters Kelli (Brett) Nielsen, Joann (Matthew) McGuire, and many nieces and nephews who all adored her. She is preceded in death by her father, grandparents, and many other relatives, which made her reunion so sweet.

The family would like to give a special thank you to her caregiver, Beth, who spent countless hours talking with her, playing Uno, and being by her side.

Funeral services will be held at the Bluffdale Ward Building located at 14650 South 3200 West at 11:00 AM, August 11, 2021. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service.
