Connie Dee Jameson Lofgran

Connie Dee Jameson Lofgran, 88, of Nephi, Utah, passed away Thursday, January 29th, in Nephi, Utah. She was born December 8th, 1937, in Eureka, Utah, to John (Jack) and Eva Schemensky Jameson. She was only 3½ pounds when she was born.

Connie attended schools in Eureka. When she started school, the only place you could go to kindergarten was with the Catholic nuns, but when she went to sign up the class was full. Since her mom knew the 1st grade teacher, she just started first grade. She was the youngest in her class and she graduated when she was 17. In high school she received the Betty Crocker Homemaking Award. She also was a member of the drill team. She graduated 5th in a class of 19.

She worked at several jobs including her favorites, the telephone office in Eureka and Payson and Juab High School as the counseling secretary.

Connie married the love of her life, Gary Lofgran, on April 28th, 1956, in Eureka. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple on August 18, 1990. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her favorite callings were working in the library as well as teaching Primary.

She loved traveling and camping. After she retired they would travel to Bullhead City and Yuma for the winter. She loved the friends and family who traveled with them, playing cards and dominoes for hours. She was a member of the Blackhawks and the Good Sams Club.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Lofgran, Nephi; children Debbie (Glade) Jarrett, Payson; Gregg (Lynnette) Lofgran, Ashburn, VA; Tiffany Lofgran, Salt Lake City; 8 grandchildren, Valerie Mecham, Marlow Jarrett, Tyson Jarrett, Crystal Averett, Spencer Lofgran, Ashley Allen, Preston Lofgran, and Tanner Lofgran; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. She is also survived by a sister, Virginia Underwood, Eureka.

She was preceded in death by a son, Scott Lofgran; her parents, Jack and Eva Jameson; sister Joan Kelsey; as well as many other brother and sister in-laws.

A special thanks to Nephi Ambulance Crew, Central Valley Home Health, Bennion Veterans Home, and all those who have helped Connie over the last few years

A viewing will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi.

A viewing will also be held at 9:45 to 10:45 am with the funeral starting at 11:00 am on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the LDS Chapel, 345 East 500 North, Nephi.

Graveside services will follow the luncheon at Santaquin Cemetery at 2:00 pm, 100 East 300 South, Santaquin.
