David Ball

David Leslie Ball, 64, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, May 19th, 2023 surrounded by his family. David was born to Leslie Ray and Patsy Ruth Ball on July 17, 1958 in Murray, Utah.

David follows his father, Ray, in death and is survived by his mother, Patsy and his brother, Patrick.

Upon graduation from Hillcrest High School, David successfully completed a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Philippines where he touched the lives of many people. When he returned, he went to work at Deseret Medical working in their labs.

After leaving Deseret Medical, he worked several jobs before becoming a Reiki Master and a Master Tarot Reader. He found that his passion in life was to help others on and through their physical and spiritual journeys.

David loved conversations around a campfire or in a coffee shop. He enjoyed exploring the traditions of home cooking from scratch, heirloom recipes, and recipe exchanges. He embraced and lived the saying, “Live simply so others may simply live.” He always had a book in hand for reading or for writing in. He loved libraries and especially the free neighborhood book exchanges that have been popping up.

David thirsted after spiritual knowledge, growth, and peace. He was constantly learning, exploring, practicing and sharing spiritual traditions.

A special thanks to Sean Stradley for his kind thoughts for our son and brother and to Inspiration Home Health & Hospice for their assistance in taking care of David.

Rest in Peace, David.
