David Dee Duncombe

July 25, 1951 – October 10, 2026

With heavy hearts and a lifetime of cherished memories, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, David Dee Duncombe, who passed away peacefully on October 10, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.

David was born on July 25, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Glenn and Edith Duncombe. He grew up in a large family alongside his seven siblings, creating memories and bonds that would last a lifetime.

In 1993, David met the love of his life, May McKendrick. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, family, and countless treasured memories. Their love and devotion to one another remained a beautiful part of his life.

David was a proud father to three children: Rick (Amy) Duncombe, Adam (Alicia) McKendrick, and Amy (Justin) Castillo.

Of all the blessings in David's life, none brought him greater happiness than his five grandchildren: Kiya, Karissa, Andrew, Sadie, and Alex. They were truly his pride and joy, and the love he had for each of them was immeasurable. Being a grandpa was one of his greatest gifts, and the memories they shared will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

David will be remembered for the love he had for his family and the special place he held in the lives of those who knew him. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories, a family who adored him, and a love that will continue long after his passing.

He is survived by his loving wife, May; his children and grandchildren; his brother, Dennis (Mary) Duncombe; and his sister, Debbie Stapley and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter-in-law, Roxanne; his sisters, Dixie, Donna, Diane, and Darla; and his brother, Dean.

While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that David was surrounded by those he loved most in his final moments. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through the family he loved so dearly.

Forever loved, never forgotten, and always in our hearts.
