David Wayne Perry

David Wayne Perry passed away peacefully at home on July 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a long and courageous battle with diabetes.

David was born on November 12, 1948, to Blanche and Keith Perry and was the 2nd oldest of his siblings. Known affectionately as Dave, he was loved by everyone who knew him. His warm personality, quick wit, and endless collection of jokes made him the center of attention wherever he went. People were naturally drawn to his kindness, humor, and unconditional love.

Dave was deeply devoted to his sweetheart and eternal companion, Tauna. For 56 years, they built a beautiful life together filled with love, faith, family, and adventure. He was immensely proud to call her his wife and treasured every moment they shared.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dave had a strong testimony of his Savior, Jesus Christ. He served a mission as a young man and later served two additional missions alongside Tauna. Throughout his life, he faithfully fulfilled many church callings and found great joy in serving others.

Dave loved the outdoors and cherished camping trips, fishing excursions, and annual deer hunts with his family. The deer hunt was more than a tradition. It was a treasured family event that brought generations together. He especially enjoyed exploring the mountains with Tauna on their side-by-side and sharing those experiences with close friends.

From a young age, Dave displayed a remarkable intelligence and love for history. He memorized the Gettysburg Address as a boy and proudly recited it every Fourth of July at family reunions. He had a deep love for his country and took pride in honoring its history.

Dave found great joy in gardening and spent countless hours tending a beautiful garden grown with love and care. He also became known for his amazing homemade peach pies, complete with his signature flaky crust that family and friends looked forward to enjoying.

A dedicated businessman with an unwavering work ethic, Dave worked in the fire suppression industry for more than 40 years and proudly owned Beehive Fire Sprinklers. Through his example, he taught his children the value of hard work, integrity, and perseverance.

Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Tauna Perry; his six children, Randy (Jennifer), Ryan (Jennifer), Emilie, David (Kim), Spencer (Jamie), and Scott (Rachel); 30 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Keith, Steven (Beverly), Jeannette (Rick), Janice (Vick), and Jonny (Spring).

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the memories he leaves behind and the faith that families can be together forever. He will be deeply missed and forever loved until we meet again.
