Diane Olson

Diane Millerberg Olson peacefully passed away March 4, 2022 surrounded by family. Born December 6, 1938 in Murray, Utah to Clarence R. Millerberg and Lula Jacobsen, she attended and graduated from Jordan High School and Brigham Young University. She married Duane A. Olson in the Salt Lake Temple in 1961.

After spending years raising her children, she worked doing alterations for Castletons and ZCMI. In retirement she enjoyed working in the Jordan River Temple, serving with her husband, Duane, in the New Zealand/Pacific Islands mission, completing family scrapbooks and treasuring her grandchildren.

She is survived by: children Lori (Earl) Stephenson, Mark (Rebecca), Cheryl (Trevor) Rosenberg, Trent (Dayna), fifteen grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sister Janice Joffs, and sister-in-law Ilene Olson. She was preceded in death by her husband Duane.

Viewings will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State Street in Midvale and Saturday, March 19, 2022 one hour prior to the service at the Midvale 8th Ward building, 8350 So. Jackson Street. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.

Diane was an example of compassion, courage, and faith in God.
