Diane Rager, age 61, passed on October 1, 2026, in Draper Utah. She was born in April 6, 1965, in Murray Utah to Clare and Mary-Agnes Rager.
She graduated from Jordan High School and built a strong work ethic that carried throughout her life. She spent 25 years working for American Express before joining Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Diane was feisty, strong willed, and a fighter in every sense of the word. She faced many health challenges, but she met them with determination and strength. Even in difficult times that fighting spirit remained a part of who she was.
Her greatest love was her family. Diane was a devoted mother to Jessica and Devin and held the memory of her son Weston, who preceded her in death, close to her heart. Her grandchildren were incredibly special to her. Jayde called her Nanny, to Ashton she was Nana- never grandma. That was part of their special bond.
Diane shared her life with her boyfriend Vern, and deeply valued the people she loved. She was happiest enjoying the outdoors whether that was camping, four-wheeling, or simply just spending time outside. She loved the holidays especially when it came to decorating and being around family. She loved Mexican food and the color yellow was her favorite – bright and full of life, much like her personality.
She will be remembered for her feisty spirit, strength, determination and the love she gave so freely to those closest to her.
She is survived by her parents Clare and Mary-Agnes Rager; brother Gary; brother in law Ramon; kids Jessica and Devin; grandchildren Ashton and Jayde; boyfriend Vern and many other family members and friends who loved her.
Preceded in death by her son Weston and sister Karen.
