Sandy, Utah - Our Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather passed away on March 10, 2024. He was born to Nellie Willa and Henry W. Krichbaum on March 17, 1928 in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

After serving in the US Army in Japan, he came back home and later married Helen Lewis on February 11, 1951.

Don retired after working for 30 years for Grand Central/Fred Meyers. He enjoyed fishing/hunting, working in his garden and traveling with Helen. They were able to take their trailer in every state but Alaska and Hawaii.

Don is survived by his daughter, Linel (Ron) Roberts of West Valley City, Utah, 2 sons: Don (Laura) Krichbaum of Evanston, Wyoming and Spencer Krichbaum of Sandy, Utah, 4 grandchildren: Amber (Brian) Matern, Meagan (Brett) McDermaid, David Krichbaum and Christy Lane, 6 great grandchildren: Carson Matern, Gracie & Blake McDermaid, Alex, Gabe and Ashley Lane, and his sister, Laurel Hurley of Denver, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and sister in law, Harrison and Frances Krichbaum, his sister and brother in law, Gloria and Bob Tracy and his loving wife, Helen.

A viewing will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on March 20, 2024 at Goff Mortuary located at 8090 South State Street, Midvale, Utah.
