Donna Faye Zitting

Donna Faye Zitting 83 passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 18, 2026. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, great grandmother, and dear friend. Donna now rests in the loving embrace of her parents and other loved ones on the other side, reunited with those who went before her.

She was born in Laramie, Wyoming, on February 5, 1942, to Donald and Dorothy Bonnell. In May 1957, she married Marshall Turner, who preceded her in death in August 1958. They had one son, Don. Later, she married Jack Lassche in 1958, and they had a daughter, Brenda: the couple divorced in 1964. In August 1966, she married the love of her life, Louis Zitting, and they had a son Chad.

She is survived by her husband Louis, and her children Don Turner (Kim) Brenda Livingston (Roger) and Chad Zitting. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Cali, Lyndsee, McKenzie, Shaylee, T.C. Cade, Karla, Kayla, and Kristy. And 13 great grand children.

She is preceded in death by her parents Donald Bonnell, Dorthy Bonnell and Helen Bonnell (step mother).

Donna had a deep compassion for people and genuine interest in everyone she met. She had a remarkable ability to listen, to offer comfort, and make others feel truly seen and valued. Whether through a kind word, a warm smile, or simply being present, Donna made people feel loved and accepted just as they were.

Family was always at the center of her life. She took great pride in attending her children’s and grandchildren’s activities and was one of their biggest supporters. One of her greatest joys was spoiling her grandchildren and creating special memories with them that will be treasured forever.

Donna also enjoyed traveling with her husband and family, embracing the opportunity to experience new places together. No matter where she went, she found joy in the people around her and in sharing the moments with the ones she loved most.

Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for others will continue to live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.

A celebration of Donna”s life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah. The viewing will take place from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held afterward at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Veterans or Shriners Hospital.
