With loving hearts, we share the passing of Dora Lee Gustin (Rogers) on January 16, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born July 30, 1953, in Nephi, Utah, Dora was the youngest daughter of Gloria and Jack Gustin. From her earliest days, she carried a gentle spirit and a deep love for those around her.
A proud Juab High School, Class of 1971 graduate, Dora began her working life at Ray’s Café, where her warm smile and kindness made everyone feel welcome. She later served as a trusted security guard at IPP, and in the years that followed, she continued to build lasting friendships through her work at Color Tile and Daltile. After many dedicated years, Dora retired as a respected manager at Daltile, admired for her leadership, fairness, and genuine care for her coworkers.
Dora was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and her faith guided her throughout her life. She also gave her heart to causes close to her, proudly supporting Relay for Life and Tough Enough to Wear Pink, standing with strength and compassion beside those affected by cancer.
She is survived by her beloved sisters, Mary Ellen Gustin (Dockery) and her husband Gerald Dockery of St. Louis, Missouri, and Gloria Jean Gustin (Walsh) and her husband Steven Jay Walsh of Nephi, Utah. Dora is also survived by her loving Uncle Don and Julie Ockey, and John Ockey, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who adored her. To them, she was a source of comfort, laughter, and unwavering love.
We remember the scripture: “...for I know that my Redeemer liveth.” — Job 19:25 A reflection of the faith and quiet hope Dora carried throughout her life.
Dora’s legacy is one of tenderness, service, and devotion to family. Though she has left this earthly life, her love remains woven into the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Dora’s viewing will be held January 24th, 2026 at the Nephi Stake Center, 351 North 100 West, Nephi, UT 84648. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM, followed by a 1 PM service. Dora will be laid to rest alongside her parents at Vine Bluff Cemetery.
