Errol Chadburn Wright

Our Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa Errol passed away at home, surrounded by his loved ones on February 28, 2023. Errol was born on January 6, 1948 to Chadburn E. Wright and Beth Butterfield in Salt Lake County. Errol grew up in Midvale, Utah where he attended Union Middle School and Hillcrest High. After high school, Errol started a career in construction. Errol was amazing at drywall. There was nothing Errol could not do when it came to drywall, and loved teaching his boys to do it as well.

Errol met his wife Karen in 1973, and the two of them were married on July 11, 1974. Together they had 4 children.

Errol loved camping, fishing, hunting and family functions, and loved watching football with his family. Errol loved his family with all his heart, and made sure each and every one of us knew it, and how proud he was of all of them. He will be deeply missed.

Errol is survived by his 4 children Shane (Tiffany) Wright, Chantel (Jason) Combs, Travis (Trish) Wright, and Josh (Sarah) Wright, 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brother Denton, and sister Artheel. Errol is preceded in death by his wife Karen, his parents, and sister Mona.

Dad’s wishes were to be cremated, so us kids will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date to celebrate Dad and his life.
