Evelyn Woodland Mills

Evelyn Woodland Mills, 81, of Nephi, Utah passed away September 7, 2026 after a long illness. She was born on March 11, 1945 to Dan and Mada Woodland in Provo, Utah. She was raised in Lake Shore and attended school in Spanish Fork. She graduated in 1963.

She married Kenneth Howard Mills on August 9, 1965 in Elko, Nevada. Together they had 4 children, Brad Mills, Lesa Pace, Melissa (Michael) Manhard and Bobby (Kellie) Johnson. Evelyn worked at Timpanogos Mental Health as a psych tech until 1980. In 1981 she got her CDL license and started driving truck cross country, eventually co-owning her own trucking company. She later got her real estate license. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, boating and fishing.

She is survived by her 4 children, 4 grandchildren: Kylie Ann Davis, Ian Lars Pace, Chance Christian Pace and Sarah Belle Pace, brother Byron (Susan) Woodland, sisters Marguerite (Jay) Smith, Lee (Art) Forbush.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held September 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Vine Bluff Cemetery - 1240 North 400 East, Nephi, Utah.
