Evelyn May Petersen

Evelyn May Shearer Petersen, 78, passed away March 3, 2022 in Sandy, Utah. She was born August 3, 1943 in Baltimore, MD to Harry Arthur and Elsie May Sawyer Shearer. She married James W. Petersen, Jr. on November 20, 1958.

She is survived by her husband, three children, nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and three brothers John, Arthur, and Frank Shearer.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, where there will be a viewing Monday, March 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
