Howard Mitchell

Howard W Mitchell, 87, passed away January 17, 2024 in West Jordan at his home. He was born October 21, 1936 in Ada, ID but lived in the Unita Basin as a child. As an adult he lived in Midvale where he met his future wife Sherry L Newell, and was married in April 28, 1961 and had 3 children Duane wife Michelle, JoDee and Lorraine husband Ken as well as 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren.  Missed by many and Loved by all.

In daddy's words:  "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth."  

"My way or the highway. And he did it that way til the end."

Didn't know today would be your last day and tomorrow will start without you. As we are left behind to navigate the changes and challenges of life without him this will only make us strong and with a deeper connection to family & friends, we choose to look at dads passing in the light with all our love we will come out the other side with our souls forever changed.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, January 25 at 12 noon at the West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 South 1300 West.
