Jeanette Webster

South Jordan, Utah – Jeanette Smart Webster (81), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, returned peacefully to her Heavenly home on October 14, 2023.

Jeanette was born on December 11, 1941, in Midvale, Utah to Ralph and Alice Smart. Jeanette married her high school sweetheart Frank Lee Webster on October 14, 1960. Together they had four children. Jeanette was a wonderful homemaker. She occasionally had a job outside of her home. When her children were young, she worked in the school cafeteria and office, was a hairdresser, and even took on the challenge of assembling auto parts for a diesel engine manufacturer. She could outwork anyone.

Jeanette was an incredible cook as well as an accomplished artist. Her paintings are so beautiful. Her talent had no boundaries! She loved to crochet, and you were extremely lucky if you received her famous Christmas Cookies. Jeanette was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, three of her four brothers, Robert, Dick, Bruce Smart, and her beloved son Troy. She is survived by her husband, Frank Lee, her sons Jeffrey, Chris (Daphne), and Vicki Street (Brad) and her granddaughters Nichole Vallentine (Zack) and Courtney Torres (Richard) and two precious great-grandchildren Wyatt Vallentine and Ellie Torres, as well as her brother Terry Smart (Roxanne) and sister Gay Winters (Jess).

Anyone who knew Jeanette knew that she was a tough act to follow... Until we meet again Mom!
