Jeffrey Franklyn Morris, 69, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday morning, November 13, 2022. Jeffrey was born on December 26th, 1952 in Whittier, California to Lila Dovie and James Mayo Morris. He grew up in Southern California and graduated from Magnolia High School in Anaheim, California. Jeffrey loved to travel and backpacked through Europe and Central America. His adventurous nature and inquisitive mind took him to all parts of the world. He loved flying model rockets on the Utah Salt Flats as well as searching for treasures with his metal detector. He later moved to Provo where he attended Utah Valley Technical College and became a Refrigeration Technician. Jeffrey married Digna Espinoza in the Los Angeles Temple on January 20th, 1990. On October 25th, 1992, their daughter, Sarah, was born. Jeffrey and his family resided in Lehi, Utah until moving to his current residence in Sandy, Utah. Jeffrey was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife Digna Morris, daughter Sarah, son Travis Morris, and sister Jennifer Morris Maxfield. He is preceded in death by his father James Mayo Morris, his mother Lila Dovie Goldsmith Morris, and his sister Judith Lynn Morris Woodland.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. (with a viewing from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m.) at the LDS Chapel, Pioneer Ward, 8670 South 220 East, Sandy, UT 84070. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
