Jeremiah Lyle Johnson passed away on October 18, 2025 at home in West Jordan at the age of 44.
Jeremiah was born June 3, 1981, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lyle Glade and Jill Jensen Johnson. He graduated from Bear River High School class of 1999 where he excelled in music, theater, and piano.
Jeremiah attended Utah State University on a vocal scholarship and the University of Utah majoring in Computer Science.
Jeremiah married Kyle Edward Mansfield October 31, 2014 at Park City, Utah.
He is survived by his husband Kyle, parents, Lyle and Jill Johnson, siblings: Landon (Natalie), Jessica (Merrick) Fonnesbeck, Joshua (Kaylee), Ryan (Sherice), and Janessa Johnson, nephews and nieces Derek, Louis, Walter, Makenna, Karlee, and Marley Johnson, and bird babies, Garrett, Nebula, and Sunshine.
Jeremiah is remembered as a gentle, kind man with a love of singing, playing the piano, acting in plays, birds of all flocks, video games, Legos, and pottery. He has held multiple positions most recently as an Accountant of Accounts Payable at Cadence Design Systems. In each role Jeremiah has not only strived for his own success but to assist others through patient guidance and teaching so they too may succeed.
Jeremiah will be remembered as a loving husband, bird daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend. We will miss you and your joyful laughter, light heartedness, and kind guidance.

Viewing will be held from 11:30 am to 1 pm.
Funeral Services will be held November 1, 2025 at 1 p.m.
All services will be held at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Midvale, Utah.
Interment will follow in the West Jordan City Cemetery at 7925 South 1300 West, West Jordan, Utah.
