Jim (Jimmy) Clifford Stevenson

Jim Clifford Stevenson, 68, passed away Friday, March 24th, 2023. Jim was born January 13, 1955 in Pinedale, Wyoming to Jim and Helen Stevenson.

Jim graduated from Murray High School in 1973. He was married to his first wife Elizabeth for 9 years and later divorced.

He later met Linda and they were married on November 13th, 1994. They were happily married for 29 years.

Jim loved the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. He loved spending time with family. One of his favorite activities was to build a fire in his backyard and spend time with his wife, Linda and his beloved dog and best friend Eli.

Jim was survived by his parents Virgil Clifford (Jim) Stevenson, Helen Ode Stevenson, sons James Clifford Stevenson, Robert Clinton Stevenson, Shane Scott Conaty, Jacob Stephen Garrett, Joseph Craig Garrett, sisters Kathie Stevenson, Jolynn (Jim) Holt. He has twelve grandchildren, Zander, Rhiannon, Marleigh, Anna Rose, Lily, Raegan, Jackson, Daynon, Jaren, Kaylynn, Ellie and Elaine. He also has a great granddaughter, Juniper.

Jim was preceded in death by his brother Dan Fredrick Stevenson, sisters Rayda Joy Stevenson and Virginia Lee Stevenson.

Jim was the job coordinator for Wasatch Front Floor Coverings for the past 7 years. He was a floor installer for 35 years. He was always working. He loved work. He was working on his house to restore it for the past few years.

He will especially be remembered for his great sense of humor. He was always joking with everyone.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, April 4th at 5:00 pm. It will be located at Stonebridge ClubHouse, 4415 Links Drive, West Valley, Utah 84120.
