West Jordan—Joann passed away on August 4, 2022. She was 77 years old.

Born December 21, 1944 in Clear Creek, Utah. She was the oldest daughter of the late Robert William and Elaine (Smith) Haycock.

Joann went to Carbon High School. She was a homemaker and took care of her family. Mom loved plants and flowers, especially lilacs. She loved working in the garden with Dad. Mom liked to collect pepper and salt shakers, and Mom was a great cook. She loved to can and put bottles for food storage. She loved doing that together with her mother. Mom was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had many callings that she loved. She also loved her animals.

She married Charles L. Wilson Sr. on September 8 and later married for all time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. Mom enjoyed raising her three children. She loved listening to 50's music. She loved to fish and being in the outdoors.

In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by her husband Charles, sister Sally, and brother Bob.

Joann is survived by her son Charles Leroy Wilson Jr. (Lori), daughters Charlene Brown and Tamara Wilson. She had eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mom is going to be greatly missed by her family.

The family wishes to express many thanks to all of her nurses at Atlas Home Care and Hospice who cared for her.

There will be a viewing Thursday, August 11 from 6-8 pm at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 12 at 11 am at the River 1st Ward, 7150 S. Callie Dr., West Jordan, with a viewing at the church from 10–10:45 am. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
