Joshua L Ferrell

Draper Utah – Josh, 36, moved on from this world peacefully in the early hours of Saturday, Sept. 3rd, 2022.

While he will be missed especially by his mother, Josh will be remembered by many whose lives he has touched, from immediate and military family to friends he met along the way. In the days leading, he expressed his readiness to embark on a new adventure, with the knowledge that he would be met by others that traveled before him. Our family would like to express a special gratitude to Rick E. who drove for 22 hours straight after hearing the news to sit by him and comfort him in his final hours.

Josh was preceded in death by his father Jay Alan Young, stepfather Christopher Tolmie, grandparents Dennis Overstreet, Arthur and Peggy Feight, and his uncle D. Michael Overstreet.

Survived by his son Gavin Ferrell he shared with his ex-wife (Kelli Kilmurray), NE, mother, Selena Tolmie-Dorius (Orval), UT, grandmother Emmanuella Overstreet, a very special mother-in-law Debbie Kilmurray, NE, Patrick Overstreet (Evelyn), UT, Nathan Overstreet (Dacia), NV, Derek Overstreet, UT, Sarah Colby (Jay), AZ, Christopher Overstreet (Mindi), UT, along with numerous cousins and military family.

A funeral will be held at Corner Canyon Ninth Ward Church building,
13006 South Boulter Street in Draper on Saturday 9/17/22 at 10:00 am.
