Katherine May Clark-Stockton

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter and sister parted this life February 8th and was welcomed home by her loving parents, aunts uncles and friends. She was born to Earnest and Verda Clark on February 25, 1943.

Katherine graduated from Orem High and LDS Business College. She was hired as a secretary at the Church Office Building. A fun skill she learned was shorthand.

She married Doug in May of 1972. She loved her family and spoiled her kids and grandkids with love and precious little gifts to brighten their days. She loved taking pictures and scrapbooking the fond memories. Katherine loved to grow and learn. She took piano lessons in her sixties and performed her recital with young children. She loved the water, swimming, boating and chilling at the beach. She usually ate very healthy fruits and vegetables and used many natural herbs. The flip side to her healthy eating was she loved tacos, pizza, coke and ice cream. She loved to sketch pictures, write and had a love for reading. She also loved music and dancing.

Katherine enjoyed the sunshine. They moved to Arizona in 2012 so she could enjoy the warmth.

Doug and Kathy were looking forward to their 50th wedding anniversary in May of this year. Katherine is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings in which she served faithfully.

Katherine is survived by her husband, Doug; daughters KrisJana Anderson (Brenden), KariAnn Stockton, brother Grenn Clark (Kathleen), sisters Mary Oliver (Larry), Debbie Hooker (Dave), 6 grandchildren Nathaniel, Alicia (Charles), Mariah, Shane, Melodie (Spencer), Mishayla, 1 great grandchild Ashmarie, 1 great grandchild to be born this month Charles, beloved nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Earnest George Clark, Verda May Clark, brother Kenny Clark, daughter Angie Stockton.

A viewing and funeral service will be held Saturday, February 19th, viewing begins at 11:00 am, funeral service begins at noon at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street. Interment, Midvale Cemetery.
