Kathleen Hobbs Pieper, May 20th 1953 to August 20th, 2024, beloved mother, grandmother and cherished friend. Her departure leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

A kind and nurturing soul, Kathleen was the steadfast rock of her family. She poured her love and creativity into every stitch of yarn she crocheted, creating beautiful pieces that embodied her generous spirit. Her passion for crocheting brought warmth not only to her home but also to the lives of those she gifted her creations to, serving as a tangible reminder of her deep love and care.

Kathleen’s family was the cornerstone of her life. She had an extraordinary love for her husband Ed, and her mom and dad Pauline and George, nurturing their relationship with unwavering support and affection. As a devoted mother to her three children Jennifer, Melissa and Matthew, she embodied grace and strength, constantly offering wisdom, laughter and love. The bond she shared with her four grandchildren Zack, Karson, Zoie and Kaidence was nothing short of magical. She delighted in each of their milestones and was always ready to spoil them with affection and warm Sunday cooked meals.

Survived by her brothers and sister-in-laws George II (Mary), David (Terri), Michael (Rayma), Jeff (Vickie) and Chris (Sherrie).

Purple was more than just Kathleen’s favorite color; it symbolized her vibrant spirit and larger-than-life personality. Every occasion was an opportunity for Kathleen to adorn herself and her home in rich shades of purple, celebrating life with enthusiasm and joy.

A true helper at heart, Kathleen refused to turn away anyone in need. She lived her life devoted to uplifting others, embodying kindness and compassion. Whether it was lending a listening ear or offering practical support, she was always there for friends, neighbors, and family members alike, reminding us of the power of love in action.

While Kathleen’s presence will be deeply missed, her spirit remains alive in the endless love she shared and the joyful memories she created. She leaves behind three loving children; four treasured grandchildren and a multitude of friends, who will carry her legacy of kindness and devotion in their hearts.
