Kenneth Maylon Bowers

Kenneth Maylon Bowers passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 92 years old. Kenneth was born in Ephraim, Utah on November 28, 1929 and was raised by his parents Maylon and Eudora Nielson Bowers in Nephi, Utah.

Ken (and Frankie) had four children and is survived by three children, Sheree Segura, Jeff Bowers (wife, Susan), and Rodney Jorgensen Bowers. His oldest son, Craig Bowers is deceased. Betty Marie Wilkey is his only surviving sister. Ken was blessed with eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Ken married Frankie F. Jorgensen shortly before his leaving for the Korean War. Upon his return, they were sealed in the Manti Temple and were married for 72 years. He was a history teacher, a high school counselor and assistant principal in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Services will be held at the Andersen Funeral Home in Nephi, Utah on Friday, August 5th at 3 pm followed by a 21 Gun Salute at the Vine Bluff Cemetery (1200 North 400 East, Nephi, Utah).
