Kyle Edward Mansfield passed away on April 24, 2026 at home in West Jordan at the age of 44.
Kyle was born July 11, 1981, in Lancaster, California to Alan Ray and Andrea Lin Mansfield. He graduated from Orem High School class of 1999 where he excelled in English and German Language Arts, Debate, and Mathematics.
Kyle was a stout intellectual, often being referred to by his sister as a “walking encyclopedia.” He had a mind for computers and numbers and held many positions over the years that utilized his strengths; working and managing teams for companies like Apple, Tesla, and Enova International.
Kyle married Jeremiah Lyle Johnson October 31, 2014 at Park City, Utah and loved him dearly.
Kyle lived as a determined and fiercely loving man that enjoyed strategy games, like risk and chess, video games, and building legos. He loved animals, especially birds; exploring fantasy worlds through reading, writing, and movies; and connecting with people. He is remembered as a loving husband, bird daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his siblings; Debra Hawks (Rudy), Brad Mansfield (Randy), Scott Mansfield (Nicole), Kelly Mansfield (Argeniz), Leslee Fisher (James), Kim Ogden (Stephen), Brett Mansfield (Ruby), Mollee Suafo’a, and Shellee Semrad (Clint); grandmother Lillian Elsie Crieighton; many nieces and nephews and his bird babies Garret and Sunshine.
Preceded in death by his husband Jeremiah Johnson; grandfather David Creighton; mother Andrea Mansfield; and brother Jeffrey Mansfield.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 9. 2026, with a viewing from 10:00 to 10:45 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM all at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale. Kyle will be laid to rest next to his husband at West Jordan City Cemetery, 7925 South 1300 West, West Jordan.
