Marriage: Jeannette married Theron H. Jaynes on June 10th, 1949, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She was married for 76 years.

Jeannette grew up in Salt Lake City and spent many summers in Wyoming on the family ranch. Jeannette was an accomplished singer. She played the piano and guitar. She loved to travel and square-dance. She loved to sew, quilt, cook, and she loved to go camping with her family. She served many callings in the Young Women’s organization in her church and served in the Relief Society. Jeannette was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. Jeannette is survived by her husband, Theron H. Jaynes, David T. Jaynes (son), Patti Jaynes (David’s wife), Micheal D. Jaynes (son), Kelli Olson Jaynes (Michael’s wife), Jeannine J Barton (daughter), Bryan R Barton (Jeannine’s husband), Lois Elkington (niece), Kevin Elkington (nephew).

Jeannette has 4 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by Lorenzo Jess Wager (father), Gladys Luella Nebeker Wager (mother), and Dora Jeanne Wager Elkington (sister).

Funeral Service: graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sandy Cemetery located at 90th South and 700 East.
