Leon Vasquez

Beloved son, brother, father, and friend!

Leon Vasquez age 42 passed away at his home in Kearns, on Wednesday, January 19th, 2022.

He was born on October 2nd, 1979 to Danny and Milly Vasquez. He grew up in the small town of Copperton, where he and his brother made many lifelong friends. He met his life partner Crystal Draper in 2000. They have three amazing children together. Leon worked in construction for over 25 years as a heavy equipment operator, building roads, bridges, and installing water lines across Utah.

Survived by: parents Danny and Milly Vasquez (Copperton), brother Adam (Tiffany) Vasquez (Herriman), Life Partner Crystal Draper (Riverton), children Isaiah(Kenadie Cavanaugh), Alex, and Angelina Vasquez, Girlfriend Michelle Severson. He also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Leon was preceded in death by his grandparents Ben and Dulce Velarde, and Max and Romaine Vasquez, father-in-law Terry Draper, uncles Bobby Veladre, Frank Garcia, and Jeff Nickle, his dear aunt Patty Vasquez, cousins, Dustin Velarde, Joey Pantoja, and Lucas Hatley, as well as many more family and friends.
