Lettie Savage Kidd, born January 30, 1944, to loving parents, Charles Raymond Savage and Genabud Smith Savage, gracefully passed away on October 19, 2025.
Lettie was an anchor of love to all of those who knew her. She cared for many of her Nieces, Nephews, and Grandchildren giving them the security and love they needed. Many others were welcomed into her home and everyone could always count on her to show up for them. At the tender age of 4 she received a testimony of the gospel of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She carried her faith valiantly and never wavered even through the loss of 5 children due to miscarriages. Expressing her love of the gospel was her mission in life and sharing the love and joy one could find, if they only turned their hearts to Jesus Christ. Her faith and testament of the eternal family is one of awe and inspiration that we as her children were able to witness into her last hour. She testified of forgiveness, love, and what a blessing it is to be loved by so many, and of Jesus Christ for as long as she was able to speak.
Lettie loved crocheting, knitting, and woodworking; but more so, she loved time with her family. She put all of her love into every single project she did, as she would think of who she was making it for and would pour her love into that project for that person. Her gifts were absolutely beautiful - each and every one of them.
Preceded in death by the love of her life and eternal companion, Gail Jay Kidd; both of her parents and all of her siblings: Gene Savage, Martha Weaver, Earl Savage and Shearl Maynard as well as life long friend Janice Cowdell. She is survived by her children, Kerry Jay Kidd (Shirley), Cory Ray Kidd (Eliana), Teresa Pearl Kidd, Letty Shalayne Kidd-Scott (Rachelle), 23 wonderful grandchildren and many great grandchildren, along with sister-in-law Kay Ubert and life long friend Marvin Cowdell.
