Linda Elizabeth Hill

Our beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Linda Elizabeth Hill, passed away at Beehive Homes of Draper, Utah on May 18, 2026 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Linda was born on October 5, 1941, to Wayne Delbert Newbold and Florence Aleen Beck Newbold in American Fork, Utah and raised in Draper, Utah. She moved with her parents and sister to Holladay, Utah briefly, and finally settled in Sandy, Utah, where she graduated from Jordan High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Jack Hill, on January 28, 1961. She enjoyed crafts, tole painting, Nascar, and traveling. She was a stay-at-home mom and raised three sons, Michael, Westley, and Courtney. She was an inspirational example to her three sons, as well as many of their friends. She enjoyed every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Delbert Newbold and Florence Aleen Beck Newbold, and her doting husband Jack Richard Hill.

Linda is survived by her sons, Michael (Rosalind), Westley (Sharla), and Courtney Hill; sister, Janet (Chuck) Wachs; grandchildren, Whitney (Andrew) Hegstrom, Jordan Hill, Dalton Hill, Garrett Hill, and Aspen (Andrew) Kafentzis; and great-grandchildren, Anaya Hill, Emma Hegstrom, Quinn Hegstrom, Maggie Hegstrom, Lennon Kafentzis, and Scottie Kafentzis.

We appreciate the strong support of family and friends, as well as the staff of Beehive Homes, and her Hospice Nurse, Callie, who assisted in her care during her final days.

A visitation service will be held in Linda’s honor on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Anderson and Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East, Draper, Utah.
