Lynn William Fuelling, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 28, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born on March 19, 1940 in Park City, Utah, to William George Fuelling and La Vetta May Atkinson.
Lynn graduated from Murray High School in 1957 and later attended the University of Utah. He was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served a mission in Northern California, where his love for people and his faith deepened.
On March 26, 1965, Lynn married Maureen Cox Fuelling. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and a shared love for the outdoors. They raised five children: Marnie Fuelling Somerville, Robert Fuelling (Aleen), Nikole Fuelling-Shields, Thayne Fuelling (Jaylynn), and Daniel Fuelling (Beth). He is also survived by his brother, Dale Fuelling (Sue), and sister, Laura Padia (Tom), along with ten nieces and nephews, eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Lynn worked for Geneva Rock Products for 29 years. He was an accomplished oil painter, with a deep appreciation for Utah’s natural beauty, wildlife, and western heritage. His canvases reflect his passion for the landscapes he explored and cherished. An avid outdoorsman, Lynn found joy in horseback riding, hunting, off-roading in jeeps belonging to the Skyline Jeep Club, and training bird dogs. His love for nature was matched only by his love for his family.
Lynn connected easily with others and brought warmth and humor to any gathering. Known for his strong opinions, hearty conversations, and generous spirit. He was deeply committed to his faith, active in his church community, and was happiest when surrounded by those he loved.
Lynn leaves behind a legacy of creativity, adventure, faith, and love. He will be dearly missed by his family & all those who knew him.
