Ma Guadalupe Calzada Monreal passed gaining her angel wings June 29, 2023, at home in Taylorsville UT surrounded by her loving family
She was born on May 27, 1936, in Rincon De Romos, Aguascalientes, Mexico to Pedro Calzada Sanchez and Ma. Josefa Monreal Jimenez. She was married to Jose de Jesus Palacios Cervantes.
She was an amazing, sweet, and kindhearted soul. She was always willing to work hard for her family and friends. She would always lend a helping hand to anyone she could and never expected anything in return. She was truly an Angel sent from heaven and if you could describe pure Love, it would be her. She wasn’t only a mother to her children, but also to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and to many others. Her hobbies were cooking, teaching, exploring nature, walking, feeding the birds, and getting a good bargain at the yard sales. She was full of selflessness, always putting everyone before herself. She was strong-willed and independent. She lived a hard life losing her mother at a young age, but this made her stronger and kept her moving forward. She was still a kid at heart, loving her dolls and stuffed animals. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten, she will forever live in the many hearts she touched!
Her religion was Catholic. She was survived by her children: Silvia, Mario, Javier, Clara, Roberto, Ma. Guadalupe, J Jesus, & Ernesto. Her 28 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, daughter, grandson, parents, and siblings.
Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end, it simply means I’ll Miss You until we meet again.
Her last desire was for everyone to wear white or light colors, no black please.
